Christmas Party

The Red River Valley Honkers Antique Car Club held its annual Christmas Party on December 8, 2010. The party was held at the Paris Golf & County Club from 6-9pm. The evening began with the arrival of members greeting each other as they arrived. The meal was excellent, especially the sourdough rolls. Each member was asked to bring a small gift with a value of no more the $10.00. These were placed under the Christmas tree. After the meal, our president, Jerry Mowery presented several members with gifts to commemorate his term as president. Jerry also had the honor of presenting the Dale Nelson Memorial Award to the very deserving Gene Ray. After the awards presentation, each member was asked to retrieve a present from beneath the tree. The presents were then distributed to the members thru the use of a very clever game devised by Jerry Dudley. It was a fun filled evening and ended too soon.
