There will be a huge Arts & Crafts Show held during the Northeast Texas Classic Car Show on June 9, 2012.  Show hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. There will be over 50 vendors of all types inside the air-conditioned Love Civic Center. Also, there will be quite a few more on the outside lawn that have items that are better displayed outside. There will be a great variety of items and a good place to get a bargain. There will be ample food and drink vendors for spectators convenience.  Shirley Carroll is in charge of the Arts & Crafts. You may email Shirley or call her at (903)-739-9763. The inside booth spaces are $40.00. The spaces are 10' X 10' and are draped with curtain dividers. Each space comes with electricity, 1 table and 1 chair.  As long as they last, vendors may rent up to 2 booths and additional tables and chairs. The outside spaces are $30.00 and are 12' X 12'. The Civic Center will not allow their tables outside so vendors must furnish their own outside. There will be kids activities on site to help make this a family friendly affair. There will also be a swap meet at the same time providing those hard to find car parts. The best part is that it is all free to spectators, so why drive all the way to the Metroplex when we have a great show going on right here in Paris.

There were approximately 200 show cars registered for the 2011 show and we expect more for the 2012 show. We are very grateful to Toyota of Paris for being the Corporate Show Sponsor. There will be 78 trophies given out in 39 classes plus an additional 50 trophies given as special awards starting at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 9. We are very appreciative to Lamar National Bank for sponsoring the trophies.

We will also be having our Cruise Night and 50's party on Friday, June 8, sponsored by Mike's Custom Paint & Body Shop.  The old cars will be cruising the city from 6:00 until 7:00 pm and they will then return to the Love Civic Center for the big 50s Party. This is free and open to the public and all are invited. If you also have a car that is 25 years or older, come join the cruise. We will be having some great 50s - 60s music being spun by professional DJ's that will bring back some good memories as well as create some new ones.
